Interactive Games

Our school has recently put Wii Boards (Interactive whiteboard made with a Nintendo Wii remote) into every classroom. I have been given the responsibility to train all the staff in ways to use it in the classroom and with their students. I found with my class it was really important to get the children use to the pen and how to use it. The best way for them to do this is by using games. Below is a list of links to different online games your students could use on an interactive whiteboard or computer. If you have any others that you use please let me know.

Animoto
Animoto is a really neat, creative tool to add to your classroom's digital storytelling kit. It takes just minutes to create a video and will bring any lesson to life. I have used animoto to create some quick videos to show things that my class have been doing or learning about and then have embeded these on my classroom blog page. It is very simple to use and makes your photos come to life.

This quick example I made is a short 30 second video of our whole school planting day.
Have a go at creating your own it's lots of fun!
